A prestigious financial aid opportunity designed to support UK fee-paying students from under-represented backgrounds in pursuing a postgraduate qualification. Awardees receive £7,000 as a fee waiver or monthly financial assistance and are automatically enrolled in the Plus Programme offering additional funding and career support.
UK fee-paying students from under-represented backgrounds; must demonstrate financial need or hardship; applicants who graduated from full-time undergraduate education from 2022 onwards must show financial need; others must provide proof of financial hardship.
UK Undergraduate Means-Tested Scholarship
£3,000 per year for 3 years; additional £2,000 annually for care experienced/estranged students
Means-tested scholarship for UK undergraduate students with household income less than £42,875. Provides £3,000 per year for three years in cash instalments plus additional support for care experienced or estranged students. Includes mentoring and workshops via the Plus Programme.
UK students entering full-time level one undergraduate courses with household income below £42,875; no prior higher education experience; application deadline passed for 2025 entry, next opens March 2026.
